Assistant 
Stylist

At K Shaw Beauty, we curate an unparalleled beauty experience in a small town yet high-end setting. We are seeking an Assistant Stylist who embodies elegance, professionalism, and a true passion for the art of hair. In this role, you will work alongside our elite stylist, Lexi Rodriguez, supporting every stage of the client journey—from preparation and color assistance to impeccable finishing touches.

 

The duration of our assistant program is approximately 9 months (39 weeks). The amount of time in the program can change dependent upon how quickly you build YOUR clientele and gain the skills necessary to succeed in this industry. The program is broken into 3 phases of 13 weeks each! During this time, you will gain knowledge in your technical skills, business building skills, and interpersonal skills.You’ll maintain a flawless salon environment, ensure each guest feels indulged and cared for, and gain first-hand exposure to advanced techniques, premium products, and dream clientele.

K Shaw Beauty provides each assistant with the tools, the techniques, and the business skills to build an exciting career! We truly believe that taking on the role of an assistant will catapult you into this industry much faster than going at it alone.

Ideal candidates will hold or be pursuing a cosmetology license, display exceptional attention to detail, and demonstrate a natural talent for service and hospitality. Your Schedule and Pay will be:

Phase 1- 15hrs assisting Rate $12.50/6hrs On Your Own 45% Profit Commission

Phase 2- 20hrs assisting Rate $13.00/12hrs OYO 45% Profit Commission

Phase 3- 20hrs assisting Rate $13.50/18hrs OYO 45% Profit Commission

K Shaw Beauty Company is the premier destination for refined beauty professionals ready to provide exceptional hair artistry and world class customer service to the busy women of the Sedalia area.  We are seeking an accomplished Commission Stylist with an elevated aesthetic, a passion for education and innovation, and a commitment to delivering impeccable service.

In this role, you will craft customized cut, color, and styling experiences using premium products and advanced techniques, while cultivating your own clientele within our curated environment. Our commission structure rewards both artistry and business growth, offering unparalleled earning potential alongside extensive professional development. Our compensation method uses the  Profit for Profit model meaning you receive your commission percentage on the profit made from the service rendered. Our commission percentage starts at 60% and is reevaluated after your first 90 days. We do not have a cap on commission increases, we always want to make sure you are taking home the lions share since you are the one putting in the hard work of performing the service. KSB provides an extensive list of materials to ensure you have everything you need to succeed all you have to provide is your tools; such as shears, hot tools, and clippers. Ideal candidates will possess a valid cosmetology license, a proven portfolio of high-quality work, and the ability to build lasting client relationships with discretion and grace. Commission 
Stylist

K Shaw Beauty is the sanctuary for elevated beauty experiences, curated clientele the highest standards of care and artistry. We are seeking an exceptional Nail Technician who combines technical precision with a refined sense of style and service. In this role, you will deliver customized manicures, pedicures, and nail treatments using professional products and meticulous techniques, while ensuring each guest feels indulged in a serene and elegant setting. Ideal candidates hold a valid nail technician license, have a strong portfolio of high-quality work, and possess a natural talent for customer care and discretion. This is an extraordinary opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic team environment, working alongside a team of top professionals dedicated to elevating beauty at every touch point. K Shaw Beauty offers the most flexible schedule, meaning YOU pick your schedule based on your clients needs. A no cap commission rate that starts at 60% percent and then is reevaluated after the first 90 days. We use a Profit for Profit model ensuring you always receive the lions share of the services you perform. We provide all the products and tools you need to perform a successful service, but you are welcome to bring your own advanced tools as well for your use only. 

We are seeking a licensed Esthetician, Lash Artist, or Body Waxing Specialist who brings both technical mastery and a refined sense of client care. In this role, you will perform premium skincare treatments, expert lash applications, and precision body waxing using luxury products and advanced techniques, ensuring every guest feels indulged and confident. Ideal candidates hold a valid state license, demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, and have a passion for creating customized beauty experiences for a curated clientele. We use a Profit for Profit model in our commission pay structure ensuring you always take home the lions share of the services you perform. Your commission percentage starts at 60% for the first 90 days and then is reevaluated and may increase per your performance. As a commission salon we provide all the supplies and product you need to perform a successful service, you are welcome to bring your own advanced tools or supplies for your use only. We also have a flexible schedule system where you pick your own hours based on your needs and the needs of your clients.
